I’m ibouyen

a young visual artist from Tangier. My work is deeply inspired by the world of dreams, literature, and the rich cultural heritage of North Africa. Through my art, I explore the boundaries between reality and imagination, combining traditional and modern techniques to create unique pieces.

I work with various mediums, including watercolor, oil, acrylic, digital art, and public murals. Each project allows me to connect with spaces and communities, reinterpreting cultural symbols through a contemporary perspective while telling personal and universal stories.

I have had the privilege of presenting my work in both solo and group exhibitions, such the exhibition “Ronda by Ibouyen” that welcomed over 200 visitors. I have also participated in events like the ‘Être Ici Festival’ and created murals for initiatives such as ‘The Local Spring Festival’ at the Chellah Hotel.

Art, for me, is a constant evolution—a way to reflect, dream, and inspire others to do the same.
